Business success means little if it doesn't lift the communities around it. That belief is the foundation of PEHLI — the Kissan Charity Foundation — our commitment to standing beside differently-abled and underprivileged people and helping them build independent, dignified lives.
What PEHLI does
- Education support: School fees, learning materials, and skill-development programs for children and young adults who would otherwise be left behind.
- Health and rehabilitation: Medical assistance, mobility aids, and therapy support for differently-abled individuals and their families.
- Direct aid: Food, clothing, and essential supplies for families facing hardship, delivered with respect and without bureaucracy.
Why "Pehli"?
Pehli means "first." For many of the people we work with, the foundation provides their first real opportunity — a first year of uninterrupted schooling, a first wheelchair, a first vocational skill. We believe that first step is the hardest, and that once it's taken, people carry themselves forward.
A responsibility, not a program
PEHLI is funded and run as a core part of the Kissan group, not a marketing exercise. Every partnership and every litre of fuel we sell contributes, in a small way, to this work. As our business grows across India, so does our capacity to give — and that is a growth target we take just as seriously as any other.
