What ISCC & ISO Certifications Mean for You
How globally recognized standards guarantee the quality, safety, and sustainability of every product we manufacture and supply.
Certifications can look like alphabet soup — ISCC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001. But behind each acronym is a rigorous, independently audited system that protects you, the customer. Here's what these standards actually mean when you buy from a certified manufacturer.
ISCC: proof of genuine sustainability
The International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) is one of the world's leading schemes for verifying sustainable, deforestation-free, and traceable supply chains for biofuels. ISCC certification means our biodiesel feedstocks are tracked from origin to finished product, greenhouse-gas savings are independently calculated, and every claim we make about sustainability can be audited. For customers with ESG reporting obligations, ISCC-certified fuel provides documentation you can actually use.
ISO 9001: consistent quality, every batch
ISO 9001 certifies our quality management system — the processes that ensure every batch of fuel, additive, or lubricant leaving our facility meets specification. It covers raw material inspection, in-process controls, laboratory testing, and corrective action. In practice: the product you receive in month twelve performs exactly like the product you tested in month one.
ISO 14001: responsible manufacturing
ISO 14001 addresses environmental management — how we handle waste, emissions, water, and energy in our own operations. A clean fuel should be made cleanly, and this standard holds us to that.
Why it matters
In the fuel business, uncertified product is a gamble: off-spec fuel damages engines, voids warranties, and undermines sustainability claims. Certification removes that gamble. When you partner with Kissan Energy, the standards do the trust-building for us.
